The question if the world is undergoing change and if humanity is changing with it is no longer an IF or MAYBE; it is a fact.

The current times that we are living in are challenging, to say the least; not that there have not been other challenging times in the history of our species – change and evolution are inevitable, regardless.

What exactly is happening and is going to happen is now slightly less of a concern compared to how we are going to get through this – how will we survive!?

The fact that we are undergoing an upgrade as a species should not come as a surprise – these things have happened before in the history of the earth and will happen again somewhere along the line.

It is pointless to discuss theories and speculations at this time, but I have some advice to give the world for the short term future on how to handle it all:
The question is: have we found ourselves overindulging in some area(s) of our lives lately? Are we eating chocolate and/or sweet things, for example, like there’s no tomorrow? Have we dropped the ball (or are struggling with it) on our exercise regimes and started hanging out on the couch more hours than is healthy? Have we blown our budgets of late so that now we’re sweating over how to pay the credit card bills next month? HAS LIFE BECOME ALL PLAY AND NO WORK – OR HAS IT GONE TO THE OTHER EXTREME?
In all of these cases we have lost our psychic equilibrium as a species and our collective soul is calling us back to our center.

THE PURPOSE of all of this, right now, is to collectively and individually learn to follow disciplines that serve our growth, not stifle it. It’s important to exercise self-control, but not to be self-denying to the point that it robs all sweetness from our lives… or to be so indulgent that our excesses sicken us.

THE OVERALL LESSON here for our collective development and evolution is to follow a spiritual discipline of moderation and to AVOID EXTREMES OF ANY SORT.
We must allow ourselves to enjoy the nice things in life, but not to let them overrun our good sense. It is notably advisable to give ourselves possibilities that follow a middle way; and remember: the option of “all or nothing” is the one choice that NEVER works.

(Please note that this message pertains to the times we find ourselves in now as a species, concerning our evolution through the end of this year 2012)

This world of ours is in yearning for a whole lot of love -

..and unconditional love is the only thing that a spiritual master teaches.
Thus, be open to knowing everything, but believe nothing - you understand and implement the above statement, will determine your level of spiritual mastery.
Spiritual mastery will lead you to the conclusion that there is no such thing as spiritual power – not really. To hold spiritual power over someone or –thing is not spiritual mastery. A spiritual master knows that they can only be master of one thing – and that is themselves.
Mastery of yourself will bring forth the knowledge that free will for every individual deserves paramount respect. It will also teach you that, as a Human, you will give up your free will to allow the inexplicably complicated and extremely talented force-of-that-which-creates to lead you into new creations. It can never stop and never does.
To get to this point, practically speaking? Live your life simply – get rid of the things and people that create drama in your life – and lessen the impact of the given dramatics that our existence brings into our space.

Our old friend “change”. The reality is that change has been a constant for eternity. What we are feeling now is not new, just.., challenging:
More and more people are or/and have started questioning the way things are being done in the world – more and more people are also challenging the known and what our various leaders are asking us to swallow as reality and how things are done and run.
It is not surprising or astonishing how some are now questioning the status quo and audibly asking for answers.

We have just undergone a heavy change: aggravation, extreme and inexplicable fatigue, flaring tempers, and just “out of sorts” have been at the order of the past months – more or less. Odd things have been happening – physical injuries to ourselves or/and those closer to us, unexpected deaths, great financial and emotional upheaval, unjust blaming; and suicide.
And now we have a short reprieve – just a breather. The world as we know it is changing, and is continuing to do so and will continue still. This is a no-brainer – but still a challenging piece of knowledge: It is the end of a cycle – the beginning of another – and also the middle of an even bigger one. It’s nothing new in the grander scheme of the universe, but it is new for us.

What are the answers – who does one trust?

There are those who know that life is altering, but refuse to accept the growing pains that inevitably go with it – and thus try to wash it away with meaningless words.  The only thing this produces is another boxed-in opinion.

There are those who are so opinionated about how and why life as we know it is changing that they are making themselves quite unhelpful without realising it.
Too much talking and “opinionating” or disrespecting of another’s space (physical and emotional) is a sure-fire indication of a person who is also still searching for answers themselves.

The master knows – but does not speak in defense or in trying to convince others.

Trust yourself.

With much love & regards,
Lilac Master.

Respect for life.

Respect for life.
“It is not heroine or cocaine that makes one an addict, it is the need to escape from a harsh reality. There are more television addicts, more baseball and football addicts, more movie addicts, and certainly more alcohol addicts in this country than there are narcotics addicts.”
Source Referring to the USA. Shirley Chisholm (b. 1924).

Providing entertainment drives the entire modern world. In itself there is no problem with this, it’s absolutely fabulous, but so much of today’s entertainment provides no mental growth. In this do-not-need-to-think-world, it is easy to lose yourself, simply to get away from our worldly reality. Our psyches find it frightening that we are killing ourselves and so many choose to escape rather than remind themselves about respect for all that is life and teaching this philosophy through their actions. Without respect for your family, friends and neighbours you will have no respect for other cultures or nations. Without respecting all other people, how do you expect to respect plants and animals?
Without respect for yourself, you have no true respect for anything that exists. And respect for yourself is the only form of respect that will lead to respect for all that is life. All these forms of respect are linked and none can be taken away from the whole.
“Companies that sell or produce toxic or carcinogenic chemicals as waste by-products are able to spin or suppress news stories so affectively that most citizens of Vermont” (USA) “ , for example, don’t know that over 53,000 pounds of a chemical banned in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, and other countries is sprayed on their feed corn every year. This chemical has been linked in scientific studies to breast cancer, leukaemia, lymphoma, birth defects, and reproductive tumors.”

If people in power can blind themselves to harming their own people, because there is a buck to be made, it means they have numbed themselves toward respecting life.

Wisdom. The answer is to view everything and everyone in life as having value. Being realistic about our reality and putting it into perspective is what is needed. A wise person’s outlook on life is one of shared survival concerns – not necessarily religious, but a concern to preserve life for our children, something most mothers understand very well. Since wisdom is usually something that comes with age, it will stand you in good stead to listen to your elders. Not to obey blindly, for each has their own wisdom. But you will find that respect for life is a universal wisdom.
I would strongly recommend that you read the chapter on Transforming Culture Through Politics in Thom Hartmann’s book The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight. This chapter makes one doubt if many of our world governments really have humanity’s best interests at heart for the long term, or is it all about short-term gain?

... then it is impossible to have an attitude of something-or-someone-will-save-us-sometime? Or is it? Being your own highest authority does not leave space for such an assumption. We are our own saviours – that is what we are supposed to realise. If we see the world as our own (and since we are part of Creation, then there is no other way to see it) and belonging to everybody, then we will be able to find lasting solutions and not just quick fixes.

Deciding who you are eventually creates who you are.
