Act as if you are separate from no one and nothing and you will heal the world.
One is at cause in the creation of one’s experience – your perspective creates your thoughts.
All states of mind reproduce themselves – thus what you act as if you are, you become.
Whatever you choose, give to another.
All effect is created by thought and manifestation is a result of intention.
Be a light unto the world and hurt it not. Seek to build and not to destroy. Seek only Godliness; speak only in truthfulness; and act only in love.
..which means that, as in all things, what you think is what you get.
What you fear is what you will draw to you.
What you resist, persists.
What you look at disappears – giving you a chance to recreate it all over again, if you wish, or banish it forever from your experience.
The secret ingredient that makes us doubt all this is our concept of PASSING TIME - because, for us, things do not happen instantaneously.
The secret ingredient that makes this work is SINCERITY – unfortunately, this is something one cannot fake. Either you have it or you don’t.
Herewith then, the reason for seeking, striving, stretching and succeeding becomes completely different. The reason for doing anything is changed, and with it the doer is likewise changed. The reason becomes the process, and the doer becomes a be-er.
When you choose to be whom you truly are – God made manifest – you will never again act in an ungodly manner. And no longer will there have to be people who display the bumper sticker: GOD, SAVE ME FROM YOUR FOLLOWERS.
The importance of the company you keep cannot be over emphasized.
Why do people doubt Divinity? Only one reason – they doubt themselves. Why? Because people are either taught to or told to. By whom? Usually by people who claim to represent the Almighty. Why? Because the creation of fear and self-doubt are the only ways to control people.
What is needed? A change of consciousness:
Wanting to hold on to what we (as humanity) have struggled so long to acquire, as an individual or as a nation, is not unreasonable, if you come from an outside world consciousness. If you derive your greatest happiness from experiences only obtainable in the outside world – the physical world outside yourself – you will never want to give up an ounce of all that you’ve piled up, as a person and a nation, to make you happy.
On the other hand – “not needing” frees one from anger, as anger is simply fear being announced. When you have nothing to fear, you will have nothing over which to be angry. In this you will then not become angry when you don’t get what you want, because your wanting it was simply a preference and not a necessity. You therefore have no fear associated with the possibility of not getting it; hence no anger.
You will not be angry when you see others doing what you don’t want them to do, because you don’t need them to do any particular thing; hence no anger.
You will not become angry when someone is unkind, because you have no need for them to be kind. You have no anger when someone is unloving, because you have no need for them to love you. You have no anger when someone is cruel, or hurtful, or seeks to damage you, for you have no need for them to behave in a certain way, and you are clear that your soul cannot be damaged.
You do not even have anger should someone seek to take your life, because you do not fear death.
When fear is taken from you, all else can be taken from you and you will not be angry.
When you find inner peace, neither the presence nor absence of any person, place or thing, condition, situation, or circumstance can take control of your state of mind or be the cause of your experience of being.
This does not mean that you reject all things of the body. Far from it. You experience being fully in your body, and the delights of that, as you never have before. Yet your involvement with things of the body will be voluntary, not mandatory. You will experience sensations because you choose to, and not because you are required to in order to feel happy or to justify sadness.
This one simple change – seeking and finding peace within – could, were it undertaken by everyone, end all wars, eliminate conflict, prevent injustice, and bring the world to everlasting peace. There is no other formula necessary, or possible. World peace is a personal thing. What is needed is not a change of circumstance, but a change of consciousness.
