This is not a time to worry...

Recently I have been dealing with a client who is constantly asking me questions on how to rid herself of her jealous streak.

I have warned her that her insecurity (because that is what jealousy is) is going to cost her the relationship with the man she loves. So what to do? The only mature thing to do is to teach your self how to look at things from the perspective of the silent witness. And who are you supposed to witness? yourself, of course. To try and change other people into what you deem fit, will never work. A person might very well become the very thing you do not want, just because you realised the fear of that worry – thus, eventually, resulting in its action.

What always happens when someone worries?...

Basically, one generally thinks of a 100 reasons why something might go wrong. And all of those thoughts then struggle to become things, sometimes overriding one’s more constructive thoughts.

It's like a train wreck. It ain't pretty. But that's the power of worry.

Now, let's say you want something fantastic to manifest in your life…

Well…, have you sat down yet and listed 100 reasons why it might come to you easily, fast, and harmoniously?

I think you should,

…and, by the way, today works too.

---

This is not to say that one is refusing to see potential pain and/or turmoil, but…

  • Wondering how else you could view life when you're experiencing emotional pain, is a sign of spiritual maturity.

· Wondering how else you could view life when things are already going really well, however, is a sign of a spiritual rock star.

· And wondering how many licks it will take to get to the centre of a Lolly Pop, is a sign of eternal youth.

Your job is to set the Law of Attraction in motion with the thoughts you think, the words you choose, and the things you do. The Law will then do the rest – unless you defeat It by constant worry; which is still, currently, and mostly, the case with the vast majority of humans who live in fear.

So! On the flip side of that coin, we have the issue of those that cannot accept their own happiness, because that will remove them from the drama that they so need to get the attention of other people.

* It takes a BIG person to accept full responsibility for their own happiness.

* It takes an even BIGGER person to accept full responsibility for their own unhappiness.

* And…, it takes a spiritual GIANT, who upon realizing any degree of unhappiness, decides to be the change they seek - in spite of having to endure the "same old, same old" that may still linger on for awhile.

However, then the question arises if we should also always “read” another person’s actions…

Though this might be tempting – it only leads to “reading into” another person’s intentions. NO-ONE can avoid pain or sadness, as that is part and parcel of human existence, but we can make it affect us differently by looking at its reality:

1) Be your own highest authority and consciously step away from becoming a slave to your worries and other people’s imagined what-if intentions.

And..

2) When we know the soul purpose of another, we are then able to
support it in all ways.

Many times when we think we are helping, but we are actually hindering, as with good intentions in mind, we really do not know that all is in order when we see
what appears to be suffering on the part of another. Supporting the soul purpose of another places us in alignment with ourselves.

Nobody can ever truly be happy in this life if they keep on worrying about what others might think or do; and then again, one will find in this same scenario those who would take advantage of this thought and simply be rude and disrespectful – those kinds of people are also not sure of themselves; and it is only when one is sure of him/her self that others are tempted to be the same.

It is true that the thought of each individual does have a powerful impact on our physical reality:

Over 11,000 people from over 65 countries took part in a global peace intention experiment in September 2008, focusing their peace towards the Wanni (north) region of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka has experienced a prolonged, savage civil war with more suicide bombings than anywhere else on the planet. Thousands have been displaced and the recent tsunami has had added toil to a once settled people.

Lynne McTaggart established the Intention Experiment to scientifically verify, via statistical feedback, the effect that individual thought can have on our external physical reality. Working in conjunction with Jessica Utts, Professor of Statistics at the University of California - the data will be analysed and assessed in further detail.

The experiment involved eight days of thoughts using the following intention set by a group of random people:

"My intention is for peace and cooperation to be restored in the Wanni region of Sri Lanka and for all war-related deaths and violence to be reduced by at least 10 per cent"

Preliminary Results

Prior to the experiment, the Wanni Region averaged 102 deaths per week. Interestingly the results showed that initially violence increased during the eight day experiment. A last surge of attacks by the Sri Lankan government brought on 461 murders in the eight days of the experiment - an actual massive increase.

However, in the 24 days following the experiment, violence levels immediately plummeted and have remained low. The weekly average death rate in the Wanni region has dropped by 49 per cent

On the other side of the island, an interesting reaction was a 68.4 percent decline during the same time.

Interesting Feedback

Many found it difficult to visualise a reduction of war. Whereas an increase in peace would be much easier to picture.

Natural News.com says "Just try not to think about a pink elephant... In line with the philosophy of best selling author Yvonne Oswald PhD, we can say that if you think about the word "war", you will put this vibration out into the world, it doesn't matter if you think about "less war" or "less death", the vibration of this low energy word will remain present…”

Live your life knowing that you matter. THUS – there is but one reason to be alive as a human, and that is to live this incarnation as intensely and completely as you possibly can, and never regret anything.

If you are self-empowered as a human being within your self – you will know and understand the wisdom that lies within the above sentence.

God has given itself a world where living is more important than understanding why we live. If you cannot stand living in such a world then don’t attempt living life as a master of it..

..and if you don’t want to give away your power, then don’t talk about everything all the time, as much understanding is cultivated in silence and contemplation.

The only way you can live life with what you have been given, is to fall in love with yourself; and remember that appreciating what you have little of is easy, and appreciating what you have lots and lots of takes a spiritual master.

The wiser the soul, the greater the simplicity - in everything.

Getting out of your comfort zone…

…it is never wise to be typecast – not because of others,

but because of your own sanity.

Remember – people can only identify with others in what they know of themselves;

and that can be rather limiting at times.

However, people do know everything;

the thing is that a person only knows as much as their hitherto and current human experience(s) has taught them.

What I am saying is that a person can only affect two frequencies within themselves and/or another person – and that is: HARMONY and DIS-HARMONY. The trick now is to get yourself to a point of personal development in empowering your self – NOT against other people, but against yourself. With other words – make a definite effort in realising how not to give away your power to others.., and things (emotions).

Stop making up excuses to stroke your own sense of righteousness – so if you have e.g. wasted someone’s time; don’t try and excuse yourself - own up to it – end of drama. If you have p’d off a client, don’t come up with all the personal hoohaa as to why – they are the client, they have nothing to do with your personal issues – take responsibility for yourself.

It may sound trite, but admitting to yourself that you cannot be right all the time and that you cannot possibly do everything is not about defining these dramas and putting them in their respective emotional files, but about accepting the situation and recognising that it exists.., and then.. moving on.

“You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.”

- Friedrich Nietzsche

---

The world does not revolve around its axis because of what an individual human thinks, nor does it depend on any individual effort or conviction on any individual’s part.

We are life; we are the experience of it and the sum total of it.. on earth.., and thus we are all responsible for the continuation of our existence – as a collective entity..; as individuals, we experience life from an individual perspective on behalf of that which is pure consciousness – no wings, no agenda.., and no expectation or requirement. The molecules and atoms and bombobulations that make up creation come from pure creative consciousness.., and pure consciousness has no preference.

The world is not going to stop revolving or evolving because someone moved your crystals or paperweight.

---

It is also true that people can be quite disappointing to us – that is because of two things: First of all, one can perceive their actions as disappointing and thus personalise it, and thus make it insulting to your psyche. Second, ACTIONS speak louder than INTENTIONS – It is so that, in this earthly existence, our actions mean a hell of a lot more than our intentions - to other people – no matter how you look at it or try and convince yourself otherwise. The thing to note here is that it is not necessarily WHAT you do, but HOW you do it. Always think again why people might get agro with you – it is usually not about you (they are really not even angry with you), but about the way the situation was handled. Take a simple matter of not informing someone of a change of plans that you have known about several days in advance of an event that you have planned. You only tell them a day before the event was supposed to take place. The change of plans was unavoidable, but cost the other person extra time and effort to rectify things on their side – the reason they might be gritty toward you now has nothing to do with the change of plans, but the fact that, because of your failure to notify them in due time, you had wasted their time.

IT IS ALL ABOUT RESPECT! And respect is something you always show – one does not take it out at certain times – it is a constant companion.

“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”

- William Arthur Ward

---

The other thing that people also tend to do is place their power in exterior “stuff”, so as to avoid responsibility of experiencing life for Universal Consciousness.

It is nice and good to know about all stuffs spiritual; however, to go and place your future and happiness squarely ”in the hands” of Archangels, Guides and Ascended Masters and the like, is simply stating to Spirit that you are not prepared to experience the Earthly creation on its behalf. WE ARE HERE FOR A REASON – and you are NOT going to sprout wings – what’s then the point of being here!? Our angels and guides do exist – and their reality is on another plane. They will not interfere with our sovereign experience – not even Archangel Michael. Their only relevance to our plane of thought is one of very subtle assistance (mostly emotionally and psychologically).

All the “stuff” is not important – and giving “it” your power through not believing in your own power, is not spirituality. Spirituality is living this earthly life with what you have and what you can make – within the knowledge of what Spirit is and believing that we are all part of the bigger picture – our part lies in experiencing this particular life as a person – in a human body, with human restrictions, emotions and within an EARTHLY REALITY – for Spirit.

As I said in my book – REALIZING YOUR AUTHORITY – “being too spiritual is no good…, and living without spirituality is no good either…”

What your spirituality is, is your choice alone – Spirit does not care what it is – just let it be a spirituality that allows you to think and reason for your self – a spirituality that will empower YOU as an emissary of peace on earth.

Empowering and disempowering people through our actions and speech..

We all know how easily we can disempower another person though our words – and we often do it without realising that we have done it. Something as small as telling a person that they are fat (when they really are not) will bring about the potential of disempowerment in them. This might sound ridiculous, and you might reason that there is also much to be said for that person’s state of mind in becoming disempowered by such a silly statement; but being kind to others is a sign of maturity. Trying to reason it out with yourself is nothing more than attempting to qualify your dissatisfaction with yourself and this world. There is no love in being unkind. And unfortunately, actual maturity mostly only comes with age and experience. A child might be born with remembrance of itself as part of the One and have memory of otherworldly experiences, until social conditioning and life as a human obscures that memory, but a child is not born with maturity – maturity is gained through experience, which is linked to our concept of time.

So what is ‘kindness’? Well…, we could dissect it and put it in a box, however, what is the point? Kindness, like love, cannot be truly expressed and honestly reciprocated when and if you have not expressed it to yourself first.

Expressing kindness to yourself is not only about buying a chocolate and vegging in front of a good DVD when you are down, but, most importantly, about giving yourself room to appreciate the goodness of others toward you.

To let you in on something I discovered some years ago: A secret to living this earthly life is not about what you can do for others, but what others will recognise in you for you having done rightly onto yourself. When others recognise in you, consciously or subconsciously, that you are kind to yourself, they will know that you are also kind to others. And I mean KIND in the TRUE SENSE of the word.

Kindness is not about giving to others all the time; it is also not about buying that new car or spoiling yourself with an expensive present. TRUE KINDNESS lies in your honesty toward life.

People who give lots – of anything, mostly do so to impress, but don’t tell them that, they’ll swear at you.

To be kind to yourself – and then as a consequence to others as well – is to be found in empowering your surroundings - and those that surround you.

An e.g: Last evening, some friends and myself very spontaneously decided to have dinner together – at home. It had been a very busy and HOT day – and the three of us ended up at home at the same time – all bushed. I had also gone food shopping that day, so we raided the fridge and came up with a stunning cooked dinner between the three of us. We ate around the outside table, laughed, had some wine (me = coffee), talked sense and nonsense, and generally had a relaxing and socialising dinner. We then drove out of Johannesburg to go look at the full moon and stars. And what an experience! One forgets that there are still stars in the sky and peace in this world – I couldn’t stop staring..

Empowering others is about empowering your own psyche with kindness. It is the kindness you find in your heart in allowing others to be whom they are and not trying to organise the world as you wish to have it. Kindness is not something you order on-line and it is not a prescription from a doctor – or spiritual healer for that matter; it is an empowered state that only you can have – no one can give it to you, no matter how hard they try. It is thus part of your Godly state – that secret room within you that nobody can enter – never mind what.

It has been a tough week so far, filled with giving many channellings and massages to clients; meetings and responsibilities also filled every day. And the thing that has stood out to me most was the kindness of a true friend: A couple of days ago, I met up for lunch with one of my best friends – to say goodbye. He is leaving for another country to further his career, and I realised that it was also leaving me… rather lost.

Walking him back to his car, I started to get very emotional and could not get the words out that I wanted to say. So…, in his kindness and wisdom, he put me at ease and started to say what I had wanted. Also giving me time to steady myself and to say “goodbye” in a good way.

This to me was a grand gift. Although we have so many forms of communication today – like facebook, e-mail, cellphones, Skype, etc…, nothing beats face to face communication. So if the opportunity to be kind and empowering is there, then take it and don’t leave it to tomorrow. But remember, that to be kind and empowering to the world, you have to do that dinner and gazing at the stars with friends every now and then.

With all my love and gratitude,

In love and light,

Vision - Own Your Experience

“When I think of vision, I have in mind the ability to see above and beyond the majority.”

- Charles Swindoll

All of us have vision; we just tend to not believe it. We tuck our vision for ourselves away like a used cuddly toy – remembered, but put aside in respect of reality; or rather what we see as our only reality. We forget that we are also beings of natural joy. Our inner cores and basic psychological belief is that we are meant to be happy and joyful. So why are the overwhelming majority of us not?

The reason for this is that we look at life as a chore. It is quite obvious why we look at life as a chore – so there is no reason in discussing it other than saying that we view life as one enormous and unfortunate necessity and pressed-upon-us responsibility. Although Mr Swindoll might have a bit of an unfortunate surname, his quote (above) rings very true in respect that one has to see above and beyond the humdrum of placid expectation. Only then can one actually see the meaning of things. It is not about being able to cast aside this and that; we all are exposed to the things that make our current world society chug along, what we are missing is the ability to know that we can look at things from a different perspective – we literally can drive ourselves to the point of not being able to see the wood for the trees – and this is a major reason why the world has gotten into the state that it has and that our youth are as angry as they are, as they realise that they have been stuck with all this hullabaloo.. (let’s remain descent, shall we).

Now, the question comes up from the adults: “Well…, what are we supposed to do about this?”

Let me tell you – reversing what we as a species have done in one magical spell is not going to happen. What needs to be done is that we need to take responsibility as a whole – the entire human race. Even the children and teenagers need to stop playing the blame game, as many of them have been here before in previous incarnations and have as much part in this as anybody else.

The solution?.......................................................................... OWN YOURSELF.

With other words, own your experiences. Don’t sit in a corner and blame God for having given you this creation and having made you the way you are. We are all part of creation and not a result of random atoms and molecules. Creation is a force that permeates everything and everyone. It created the universe and everything above, below and beyond it. Humanity is only starting to discover what was previously thought impossible. You only need to hop onto the internet to read up on the most mind blowing discoveries that defy logic completely!

“You have got to be willing to put yourself through the paces of doing the uncomfortable until it becomes comfortable and until you realize your dreams.”

- Jim Rohn

OK, enough talk – let me discuss an example closer to home and more individual:

I was invited to speak on a TV program last week regarding channelling – and also to channel information for a lady who has recently experienced a miscarriage. I joined a psychologist on the set and it was amazing to realise that we completely agreed on owning individual experience. We advised the woman in question that she needed to accept what had happened as part and parcel of her experience in this life. There was no purpose in her putting the experience in a box and hiding it up in the attic – even though unbelievably traumatic, hiding an experience as upsetting as that to better serve social conditioning or to try and convince oneself that “it is really nothing” is soooooooo destructive. She was destroying any chance of happiness she could have in her marriage and forever loose touch with those that care about her.

Note: A wise friend will also never tell another that “it is nothing” to try and make them feel better. By doing that you potentially take away a perspective that is not yours to take away…

We also have to remember that if we do not care for our own wellbeing, even those that care for us will eventually feel they are wasting their time – and turn away. This, of course only then strengthens the pain body – and the situation spirals into oblivion.

---

Well, one of our house cats - called Boy – has just decided that I have done enough typing for one day and is pawing my hands and attempting to lie on my laptop – I can just imagine him saying: “You love me long time now.” – end.

Take ownership of your life, your thoughts and desires.

Just thinking of or wishing for something is not enough – you have to do something to make it happen.

"In truth, to attain to interior peace, one must be willing to pass through the contrary to peace. Such is the teaching of the Sages."

-- Swami Brahmanada

---

Next time, we will be talking about the way one can empower or disempower another person simply through one’s actions or words..

The nonlocal Self

The following story, which derives from one of the greatest Vedantic texts, the Chandogya Upanishads, beautifully describes the nature of the nonlocal self/Higher-Self:
Thousands of years ago the great sage, Uddalaka Aruni, sent his twelve year old son, Svetaketu, to a great guru, so that the boy could learn deeply about the ultimate reality. For a dozen years Svetaketu studied under this master and studied all the Vedas. When Svetaketu returned home, his father noticed that his son acted as though he had learned all there was to learn. So Uddalaka decided to pose the young man a question:
“My learned son, what is that thing which cannot be heard, but makes hearing possible, which cannot be seen, but makes seeing possible, which cannot be known, but makes knowledge possible, which cannot be imagined, but makes imagination possible?”
Svetaketu was perplexed and silent.
His father said, “When we know a single particle of clay, all objects of clay are known. When we know a single grain of gold, all objects of gold are known. The difference between one piece of golden jewellery and another is only its name and form. In reality all the jewellery is just gold and all the pots are just clay. Can you tell me, my son, what is that one thing which by knowing all can be known?”
Svetaketu replied, “Alas, my master did not give me this knowledge. Will you?” “Vey well”, said Uddalaka. “Let me tell you. The whole universe is one reality, and that reality is pure consciousness. Pure consciousness is absolute existence. It is One that is not followed by a Second. In the beginning the One said to itself, ‘I shall differentiate into the many, and so become all the seers and al the scenery.’ The One entered into the many and became the Self of each. The beings of all things are One, and the One is the subtle essence of all that exists. You are that Svetaketu. “In this same way bees make honey from the nectar of numerous flowers, but once the honey is made the nectar cannot say, ‘I am from this flower, or that.’ So too when you merge with your nonlocal Self, you become one with the Self of all that exists. This is the true Self of all, and Svetaketu, you are that.”
The young man replied, “Enlighten me more, my father.”
Uddalaka paused before speaking. “The river Ganges flows to the east. The river Indus flows from to west. However, they both ultimately become the sea. Having become the sea, they no longer think ‘I am the Ganges’ or ‘I am the Indus. So too, my son, everything that exists has its source in the nonlocal Self, and that Self is the subtlest essence of all. All is the true Self. Svetaketu, you are that.
“When the body withers and dies, the Self does not die. Fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it, wind cannot dry it, and weapons cannot shatter it. It is unborn; has no beginning or ending. It is beyond the boundaries of space or time, pervading the entire universe. Svetaketu, you are that.” “Enlighten me more, my father,” Svetaketu responded enthusiastically.
Uddalaka said, “Bring me a fruit of the nyagrodha tree.” Svetaketu brought the fruit. “Break it open.” Svetaketu did so. “What do you see my son?” “Tiny seeds, father.” “Break one now.” Svetaketu broke open the tiny seed. “What do you see, my son?” “I see that nothing is left, father.”
“That which you do not see is the subtle essence, and the whole of the nyagrodha tree, which comes from it. So too the universe sprouts forth from the nonlocal Self.”
Finally Uddalaka asks Svetaketu to place a cube of salt in a pale of water. The next day the sage asked his son to give him back the cube of salt. “I cannot give it back,” the young man responded. “It has dissolved.” Uddalaka asked his son to taste the surface of the water. “Tell me, how is it?” “It is salty, father.” “Taste in the middle and see how it is.” “It is salty, father.” “Taste it at the bottom, and tell me how it is.” “It is salty, father.” “Just like the salt is localized in the cube and dispersed in the water, so too your Self is simultaneously localized in your body and pervading the entire universe.
“My dear son, you do not perceive the Self in your body, but without it perceptions would not be possible. You cannot conceptualize the Self, but without it conceptualization would not be possible. You cannot imagine the Self, but without it imagination would not be possible. However, when you become the Self, and live from the level of this nonlocal Self, you will be connected to all that exists, because the Self is the source of all that exists. Truth, reality, existence, consciousness, the absolute – call it what you will, it is the ultimate reality, the ground of all being. And you are that, Svetaketu.
“Live from this level, Svetaketu, and all your desires will come true, because from this level they will not just be your personal desires, they will be aligned with the desires of al that exists.”

Svetaketu practiced al that he had learned and became one of the greatest seers of the Vedantic tradition.

Universal Truth...

“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential…these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.”
- Eddie Robinson

Last week I mentioned five attributes in decision making that create harmony as a state of consciousness - Every choice in your life has to be tested by conscious questioning; from the biggest to the smallest everyday choices. Ask yourself the following five questions in every decision you make and you can create this harmony within your own life:

TRUTH
BEAUTY
HEALTH
HAPPINESS
LIGHT

Let’s say I ask myself the question whether if going to a certain country to participate in a 3-week long hike (of a spiritual nature) is going to be of benefit to my psyche and development in whom I am?
All the above listed attributes have similar connotations and can be summed up in the last attribute – however, there are slight differences:

1 – Is there TRUTH in the act of doing this? With other words – Do I feel (remember that feeling is the way that Life-Force communicates with us) that doing this has meaning for me in my development as a human being? Does the act feel honest? Would the trip be filled with integrity for me?

2 – Is there BEAUTY in what I am planning on this adventure? I am not referring to physical beauty – although the hike will certainly have its natural beauty – I am referring to the content of the whole thing – I am interested to know if there is potential inner beauty in seeing what I will see there? Will my going potentially stir my inner perception of the world to greater heights?

3 – HEALTH. Well, what about health? The question is also whether the trip potentially has psychological health at its core. Will my going enrich my psychological health and the development and stimulation of my mind?

4 – Am I happy when thinking of going? Does the decision to go awake a sense of dread or HAPPINESS within? Does a sense of joy ensue in the thought of going on this trip? (This comes, once again, as a simple feeling).

5 - The preceding four attributes are summed up in this fifth and last one: LIGHT.
Does the entire situation of going to a foreign country and making a 3-week long sojourn on your feet appeal to you – and does that idea awaken a sense of personal development within you? With other words – does this whole scenario resonate with your being? If even one attribute is absent, you must look in another direction regarding your decision.
Live by it and you cannot ‘fail’ in your path.

Now, asking yourself these questions is very important if you wish to maintain a balanced sense of harmony and pride in your life – and they have to be asked and answered for every question you are unsure of – ANY and EVERY question. It is not meant for only the big questions, but also the small and seemingly insignificant ones.

My answer to all the above five questions is YES – the situation resonates with me significantly. Thus, the details will be taken care of.

“When a human being is following his (her) truth, it’s his (her) passion for God he (she) is discovering. It’s a path for his (her) own personal discovery to find God in his (her) life. That’s truth. It’s diverse since there are so many individual paths for Humans. Each Human Being is spiritually unique. One is working on abundance issues, one is working on health issues, one is working on self-worth issues, and one is battling fear. Many of these paths are a result of the past experiences of Humans on Earth in different expressions [past lives], creating the vast differences of personalities at birth – their strengths and challenges, their many phobias, and their gifts. Do you see how you cannot create a spiritual box and ask everyone to get in?”

You are the only one who can listen to your Higher-Self and heed the nudges of your Universal Life-Force.

Have you ever noticed that there's really only one thing you can do to unquestionably change the scenery in your life? Physically move through it.

What is really going on here? continued...

In the last article, I mentioned the first of three attributes in how to know yourself – the path to know God and how to do it. The first attribute was: become interdimentional (thus, trust the parts of you that you cannot see –
- your Soul (group)/Monad).

The second attribute in knowing yourself as part of God is that you really have to understand that you’re part of the God family. To put it plainly – we are al part of the grander consciousness that makes up creation in its totality. There IS NO God on the one side and you on the other – God/Universal Consciousness cannot be separated from itself. Seeing God/Universal Consciousness as another thing over there is like playing chess with yourself. There is just no such possibility – it is a man-made concept used to explain the seemingly unexplainable. God is ONE WHOLE collective thing – although we have given God human characteristics in an identification attempt – and the true concept of God encompasses everything. God is the energy and driving force of creation, and it is the life-force that channels all realities.

The third attribute is to become compassionate. The admonishment here is to become compassionate in all things. With other words: in everything you do, say and think - do, say and think it with genuine compassion for everything and everyone around you – including yourself.

By combining and adhering to these three attributes – of interdimentional understanding, a realisation of collective family and a compassionate spirit – you will come to see the face of God.

Instead of describing to you how to do these things and how to incorporate them, I am going to give you a metaphor.
It describes a perception that will be, especially by parents – and especially by mothers - understood:

‘Mothers, remember the feeling when you had your first born – that precious moment? There is nothing like it.
Now, let’s say that you lost track of your children – let’s imagine they where living in another country – and you were no longer part of their lives. You lost contact. You missed them and yearned for their return.
Then, one day you receive a phone call: “Mom! It’s us! We found you. Can we come home?"

Mom. What are you going to say? Your children wish to come home. You don’t ask why – you just want to see them again.

The metaphor of coming home is the connection with the Higher-Self, which gets you back into remembrance and reunion with God.

One child shows up in a brown car and one in a blue – do you care? Do you care, mom?
There will be those who do care what colour car you drive, but not the Creator – for how can one part of one thing wish another part of itself to be wilfully discarded? All Spirit cares about here is the heart and integrity of the search, not how you get there – or which car you drive or what colour it is. Universal Consciousness cares about the reunion of its consciousness.

The complete message here is that the Creator wishes to be found – a message very seldom heard in hard-core religious doctrine - and does not care how the reunion occurs.
Spirit wants to be found! It’s simple, not hard. Without any special steps or suffering; no special rules or party hats are needed either.’

If you really wish to see the face of God then observe people in their own world – you don’t get to know yourself by dissecting others’ characters and placing them in a box and assigning then some type of meaning based on this box. It boils down to a matter of how deeply you trust your own guidance (Attribute #1) to how much bounce will be in your step.

Harmony and happiness are states of consciousness, not acquired attitudes:
Every choice in your life has to be tested by conscious questioning; from the biggest to the smallest everyday choices. Every decision you make must also satisfy five necessary attributes:

TRUTH
BEAUTY
HEALTH
HAPPINESS
LIGHT

If even one attribute is absent, you must look in another direction regarding your decision.
Live by it and you cannot ‘fail’ in your path.

You can only say that you know how to love, and live in and with love, when you know the value of things and people that leave lasting impressions of their lives.

What is really going on here?

“A love affair with knowledge will never end in heartbreak.”
- Michael Garret Marino

What is really going on here?

We hear that the world is going to cease existing the way we know it - from fear-mongers, metaphysicians, astrologers and scientists alike; we also hear that our planet is going to become home to an enlightened and spiritual world society from the general New Age community – when? when I’m 96? or in my next life time? or the one after that?

Whatever your path to God (and, believe you me, EVERYBODY has their path to God – even those that classify themselves as atheists), is of little significance (and in the eyes of Universal Consciousness – completely insignificant). It is relevant to us, however, how one does it.
What I mean is that Universal Consciousness is just that – it is a consciousness that is only interested in YOU (the Human part of the whole Creation thing) finding YOU (the Etheric part of ultimate reality – and thus to access YOU in the consciousness of the universe).
This so-called shift that is taking place is no more or less a way than how Humans are starting to think. We are NOT going to poof into the sunset by December 2012, and neither is the world going to magically change into an esoteric paradise; it is just a change to the next time period – as with our current astrology time line. It is also undeniable that times ARE a-changing – the only difference now is that it is happening much faster than it used to. This is simply a result of Human consciousness awakening to the fact that there is more to know – and that we have the abilities to make new knowledge and/or opinions known at a much faster rate (through the media, internet, world travel, chat facilities – even with cell phones, etc.). There is much more scrutiny taking place now than before and hiding places are growing scarcer. The percentage of people who can be truly viewed as “those nutty ones that speak of the light and know that they are a complete part of it – and REALLY know and live it”, are but less than half of 1 percent of humankind. Yet, they make an enormous difference – a difference that will change the way much of Humanity thinks – not because they try and change the way we think, no, their impact lies in the power of allowing others to think for themselves. Whether Jesus Christ or Nelson Mandela, they made/make people think and ponder in peace.

The reason I say that everybody has a path to God/Universal Consciousness, even the atheists, is because everybody has some kind of belief system; and THAT is what God/Universal Consciousness is about. The path to seeking out your intelligence, authority and knowledge for yourself is a fact – NEVER MIND the way it is done or how.
The above might sound like a dangerous way of thinking, but just think of it this way: A person who has accessed their own intelligence, wisdom and knowledge and who sees themselves as part of the whole set-up is actually unable to wilfully harm another part of the whole set-up.

The answers are always quite simple – only our implementation of them (or deciding which one is best) create the complications.

Let’s look at three attributes in getting to know Universal Consciousness and how to do it:
Number 1: Become interdimentional in thought.
When a human heart hurts emotionally, it hurts; we feel the pain no matter what is said. This is so because of our Human make-up. Becoming interdimentional in thought allows you access to your “other parts” that are not in Human form. These “other parts” are always there – and even include those that have died in our reality. This is not necessarily a comfort when your heart is breaking, for example, when a loved one has died. And it is not meant to be a comfort at that time – but the knowledge that all is part of a grand consciousness that creates, becomes a comfort when the pain subsides and produces the knowledge of interdimentional reason.

For those who do not believe in this (or cannot bring themselves to do so for their own reasons) – they might create more confusion for themselves, but they are following their own belief structure – and thus their own path. There is no such thing as a non-believer – it cannot be, it is not possible – for not believing is belief in something, and this is just another path.

Remember: Universal Consciousness is just that. It is a consciousness.

The reason that the New Age movement has been seen as a threat to religion is for
absolutely no other reason than the fact that most New Agers do not follow a specified doctrine – because there is none – irrespective of those New Agers who have succumb to making their belief system a religion. But however that may be, the New Age (or the current New, New Age) thought is no different in its meaning as a belief system than any other belief system.
By the way – “New Age” is simply a term that implies that we are moving into a new age of thought – like moving into the next astrological age (which we will be doing soon enough) - our next linear time period.

In the next distribution email, I will highlight the next two attributes in getting to know Universal Consciousness and how to do it. And then also tell a little story..
